Singer Bappi Lahiri is being tested for COVID-19, hospitalized

In a statement, Reema wrote, “Bappi Da used great caution but was found to have severe Covid symptoms. She has been admitted to the care of Dr. Udwadia at Breach Candy Hospital as a precautionary measure due to her age. She will be fine and home soon. Thank you for keeping him in your prayers regularly. ”

The statement goes on to say, “He wants the blessings and wishes of his followers, friends, and everyone in India and abroad. On behalf of Bappi Da, we convey his message to all who seek the good and his followers so that they may remain healthy, blessed. ”

The 68-year-old singer had recently taken to social media to express his delight at being eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. He had written, “I just signed up for my #COVID19Vaccine - wait! As soon as I found out that those of us over 60 and those between the ages of 45-59 who had a serious illness with their partner were now able to book our jab, I felt relieved that the end of this epidemic was near. ”


The singer also asked his fans to sign up for the vaccine and stay safe.

On March 17, Bappi Lahiri, best known for his work on several films of the late 1970s-80s like "Chalte Chalte", "Disco Dancer", and "Sharaabi", had posted on Instagram that he had previously registered a COVID-19 vaccine.

Many celebrities within the previous few weeks are infected - including Kartik Aaryan, Aamir Khan, Paresh Rawal, R Madhavan, and Ranbir Kapoor.
